Dr. Esh Tatla
Medical doctor, video journalist and content creator

Here’s My Story
Hey, I’m Esh.
I’m a medical doctor, video journalist, and content creator.
After graduating med school, I realised something that’s hard to ignore: the way we talk about health—especially online—is a mess.
Misinformation spreads faster than the truth, influencers are profiting from their "health hacks", pseudoscience gets more views than actual science, and most people are left feeling overwhelmed or misled.
So I decided to do something about it.
I create videos that make complex research not just understandable—but actually watchable. Think rigorous science, clear explanations, and storytelling that speaks the language of the internet.
When science is told well, it doesn’t just inform. It has the power to change lives.

Documentaries
I produce science-led, story-driven documentaries that unpack the bigger picture behind public health issues: from the rise in early onset cancer to the hearing loss epidemic. Each video blends expert interviews, original research, and strong narrative arcs to make public health feel urgent, human, and worth paying attention to.

Short Form Content
I make short videos that simplify complex health topics in a way that’s engaging, algorithm-friendly, and easy to understand. From unpacking how Ozempic works to explaining the science behind bruises, these videos are designed to educate without ever feeling like a lecture. Each one sparks curiosity and encourages people to think more critically( and more playfully) about their health.

Skills Training
I lead workshops that help professionals communicate health and science more effectively: online and offline. From breaking down jargon to crafting compelling narratives, I focus on skills that make content both accurate and engaging. I’ve delivered training at YouTube HQ and taught storytelling at Google HQ as part of an NHS event, helping clinicians turn evidence into impact.

Public Speaking
I speak at events and conferences about the future of health: from the role of AI in medicine to what it means to be a doctor in the digital age. Whether I’m delivering a keynote, joining a panel, or leading a fireside chat, I bring energy, clarity, and a fresh perspective on how we communicate science in a changing world.
Portfolio
Science Says is my video series where I investigate the boldest health claims—from TikTok trends to wellness fads—with clarity, evidence, and storytelling.
I combine my medical background with a deep understanding of digital culture to cut through the noise and make science feel human, honest, and actually helpful.
